We will be having our transcript workshop today to help fill you in on all of the questions and concerns you may have about transcripts.
Date/Time: Wednesday September 5, 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Event Location: Social and Behavioral Sciences Gateway 240/241 (building #214 on campus map)
As we come closer to the end of the program, you will need to request an official UCI transcript to send back to your home university in order to receive credit. You will need to have the correct address of where you should send your official transcript. Bring your questions, and see you soon!
Don’t have any plans for this evening? Gather your friends and come out for a casual game of volleyball, basketball, or your favorite sport at the Anteater Recreational Fields from 5:00pm to 7:00pm today!
Staff members from Activities will organize the games and play with you. Sign up by visiting the Activities website.
If you want to meet a professor who is fully engaged in campus culture and the arts, Julia Lupton will not disappoint! Not only is Professor Lupton one of the truest and most knowledgeable Shakespeare experts you will ever meet, she is also an advocate for community and inclusion, multiculturalism, and accessible arts education. Come out and learn about Professor Lupton’s interests and journey to UC Irvine, where she has taught since 1989. While Julia’s research is lined with studies of theater, Shakespeare, and humanistic education, her journey doesn’t end with the tragically magnificent world of Shakespeare. Intrigued? Learn more by hearing from Professor Julia Lupton herself!
Julia Reinhard Lupton, PhD, is professor of English and Associate Dean for Research, School of Humanities. She is the faculty director of Illuminations, the Chancellor’s arts and culture initiative, and co-director of the UCI Shakespeare Center.
