Take a look at what our students have been up to since Week 3 at UCI Summer Session!
During Week 4, our Summer Session Marketing team hosted their annual Night Market. Students were able to enjoy food, games, and win prizes through competitions! Shout out to our student Ismail Hassan who won four free Luna Grill meals and to our student Ha Won Bae who sang “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s Moana!
To check out Ha Won Bae’s performance, please check out our YouTube channel. If you cannot access our YouTube channel, please view it through web-files!
Next, our students packed their bags for the second overnight trip of the Session: Las Vegas/ Grand Canyon. They enjoyed a sightseeing tour of the Strip, the Fremont Street Laser Light Show, and the many casinos and clubs the Las Vegas Strip has to offer. Some of our students were also able to enjoy the optional Grand Canyon tour and see one of our national landmarks! On their way home, they stopped at the Las Vegas Outlets to do some more shopping.
Major League Soccer: Manchester vs AC Milan
Next, our students enjoyed their last weeks at Summer Session by watching an international soccer match between Manchester United and AC Milan at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California.
Laguna Beach Night Trip
Then, they spent their Thursday evening at Laguna Beach where they saw the perfect sunset, rode the trolley, and visited Laguna Beach’s best kept secret spots, ate at international restaurants, and much more.
Major League Baseball: Angels Game
Next our students went to the Angels Stadium and were able to watch America’s past time. We hope they enjoyed watching the Angels take on the Seattle Mariners!
Hollywood LA Tour and Outlet Shopping
Lastly, our students were able to take a tour of LA and Hollywood to take a break from studying for their final exams! They visited the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Griffith Observatory and were also able to do some last minute shopping at the outlets!
We, at International Summer Session, hope you all enjoyed your stay at UCI and made some wonderful memories!
