The UC Irvine Health Medical Education Simulation Center, located within the Medical Education Building at the School of Medicine on campus, is a $40 million, 65,000-square-foot state-of-the-art medical simulation center that provides telemedicine and simulation-based educational programs and CME courses for thousands of healthcare providers each year.
The medical simulation center includes:
• A full-scale operating room
• Emergency room trauma bay
• Obstetrics suite
• Critical care unit
Students on this tour will have the opportunity to meet staff technicians and learn about simulations of real-life scenarios which challenge participating healthcare providers.
This event will take place at the Medical Education Building (building #836 on campus map) today, Friday, September 1st from 10am-11am. An RSVP is REQUIRED on EEE.
