Who loves shopping? Luckily for you, studying in Southern California means you can take advantage of all of the shopping centers located here! In Orange County alone (where UC Irvine is located), there are three popular shopping centers:
A shopping center with a fitting name, Fashion Island is located in Newport Beach next to the beautiful ocean. Be sure to take a study break and visit Fashion Island to enjoy the stores, restaurants, and movie theater!
Known as “The Ultimate Shopping Resort”, South Coast Plaza is one of the largest shopping centers in the United States with a combination of department stores, luxury brands, active brands, and more!
In addition to its abundant stores and restaurants, Irvine Spectrum Center features a carousel and giant Ferris wheel! If you are looking to have some fun after shopping and eating, the shopping center also includes Dave & Buster’s, a popular arcade, and movie theater!
